Watermark Crafts specializes in the craft of Paper Quilling.  Paper Quilling is the craft of rolling thin paper strips into various shapes which are then collectively arranged to form designs.  It has a history of at least five hundred years.

 

We are one of the lucky, last few bastions of this venerated craft who strive to carry forward the time-honoured tradition of Paper Quilling into the twenty-first century.  We pride ourselves on maintaining the traditions of Paper Quilling, which include hand-cutting some of our paper strips, while offering a new Asian infusion on an ancient European craft at the same time.

 

At Watermark Crafts, we dedicate ourselves to creating original handcrafted quillworks, whatever the nature or scale of the project.  Painstaking attention is paid to design, detail, craftsmanship, luxurious paper strips and suitability of quilled shapes in each and every piece of our quillwork.  

Just as it is a joy for us to quill, it is as much of our pleasure to create quillworks that others will take delight in.

 

 

 

Patsy Kho, a self-taught quiller from Singapore, began quilling at the age of nineteen.  She became fascinated with Paper Quilling after chancing upon a book on the craft at a bookstore and has since been a quilling enthusiast.

 

Patsy founded Watermark Crafts in May 2002 to pursue her ever-burgeoning passion for her craft.  Her quillworks are exclusively available at selected local hotel gift shops and as private commissions.
